Born in Treviso, Franco’s cooking is influenced by the regional specialities of the Veneto. His early culinary experience was honed in the famous Venetian fish restaurant Gigi Bindi. Following a brief spell in Australia, Franco came to London and worked for two years at Toto’s in Walton Street.
Franco became Head Chef at Timo in 2006 and has brought with him a keen enthusiasm for creating daily specials from the seasonally available ingredients in the market. Franco receives glowing plaudits for his culinary creations, with diners at Timo being regularly struck by the visual beauty of his dishes.
Franco is supported in the restaurant and kitchen by a strong and talented team of assistants.
